PANAMA -- Aiyanna Stam recorded 14 kills and Jamestown swept Panama 25-12, 25-12, 25-14 in nonleague volleyball action on Thursday.
Jamestown (3-3) also received eight blocks from Addison Brown, Remy Anderson had seven kills and Maylin Cuifolo dealt 25 assists.
Panama (3-5) was led by Mckenna Kolstee with four kills, two blocks and six digs, Lilly Hyde had two kills and Annie Becker made six assists and six digs.
WARRIORS SWEEP WILDCATS
SHERMAN -- Salamanca swept Sherman 26-24, 25-15, 25-17 in nonleague play.
Salamanca (4-3) was led by Maliyah Foster with eight kills Kylynne Day had six kills.
Emmersen Crawford scored seven kills for Sherman (4-4), Ava Irwin had three kills, seven assists and three digs and Jayne Chambers added three kills and a block.
FREDONIA FALLS TO ST. MARY'S
FREDONIA -- Fredonia dropped a nonleague contest against St. Mary's of Lancaster 25-13, 25-14, 23-25, 25-18.
Londyn Wilmot led the Fredonia (4-3) effort with 26 kills, seven digs and two blocks, Alyse Bugaj had 29 assists and five digs, Maddie Krakowiak had five kills and three aces, Sophia Pagan made eight digs and an ace and Isabella Buckley had one kill, an ace and seven digs.
TROJANS FALL SHORT
OLEAN -- After falling down 2-0 Southwestern's rally came up short of Olean in the fifth set with the Huskies winning 25-17, 26-24, 25-27, 20-25, 15-13 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 1 action.
Southwestern (4-5, 2-4) was led by Madelyn Burnett with 12 kills, 11 aces and two blocks, Gianna Sirianni had nine kills, seven digs and three aces, Reagan Stutzman had eight kills and two blocks, Anna Conley had 10 digs, Aurora Hyldahl made nine digs, Elise Kartesz dealt 19 assists and Caroline Churchill provided eight assists and two aces.
Olean improved to 6-3 overall and 4-2 in league.
