FREWSBURG -- Jamestown's Thomas Kathman’s time of 17:42 led all of the boys in cross country action at the Frewsburg Sports Complex, but second-place Anson Miller and Falconer/Cassadaga Valley squeaked by for Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association victory with 41 points Tuesday.
Jamestown posted a second-place score of 44 while Frewsburg took third with 62 and Gowanda/Pine Valley finished with 69 points.
Grace Gilevski won the girls race for Frewsburg and propelled the Bears to a winning score of 21 with her time of 20:37. Jamestown took second with 39 points, Falconer/Cassadaga Valley placed third with 87 and Gowanda/Pine Valley finished last with 96.

PHELPS POWERS WOLFPACK
PANAMA -- Clymer/Sherman/Panama freshman Christopher Phelps won the boys race to lead his Wolfpack to a team victory at Jack Keeney Community Field on Tuesday.
Phelps finished the 3.1-mile course in 17:49 as Clymer/Sherman/Panama won with 20 points.
Maple Grove won the girls team race with 32 points, led by fourth-place Lily Elliss. Clymer/Sherman/Panama eighth-grader Savannah Whitney was the individual winner in 21:58.
Maple Grove finished second in the boys race with 37 points, led by third-place Jack Sherry. Southwestern was third with 93 points while Salamanca was incomplete.
Clymer/Sherman/Panama was second in the girls race with 36 points while Southwestern was third with 62, led by second-place Lillian Weikel. Salamanca, which was led by sixth-place Elliott Merrill, was incomplete.

GATORS WIN INDIVIDUAL RACES
OLEAN -- Allegany-Limestone's Nolan Wilczewski won the boys race in 18:04, but Olean was the team winner with 23 points at Forness Park.
Allegany-Limestone's Elexa Duggan won the girls race in 20:50 as the Gators also picked up the team win with 19 points.
In the boys race, the Huskies were led by third-place Declan Boutillette while second-place Franklinville/Ellicottville, which scored 33 points, was led by second-place Kellen Hatch. Cattaraugus-Little Valley, Allegany-Limestone and Randolph were incomplete.
In the girls race, Cattaraugus-Little Valley was second with 36 points, led by seventh-place Madeline Pietras. Olean, which featured third-place Kinley Belleisle, Franklinville/Ellicottville, led by eighth-place Nora Reynolds, and Randolph, led by fourth-place Kadence Durow, were incomplete.
