SOUTH DAYTON -- Emmersen Crawford had eight kills, two blocks and three digs while Madison Emory served up five aces to go along with three kills as Sherman outlasted Pine Valley 25-18, 25-16, 17-25, 23-25, 13-15 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 4 volleyball Wednesday.
Ava-Kay Irwin had two aces and three kills while Jayne Chambers added an ace, five kills and two blocks for the Wildcats (3-4, 2-2).
Addison Lyndsley had 11 kills, two aces and a dig; Ava West had 12 kills and an ace; and Madi Robertson had eight aces, 23 assists and five digs for the Panthers (4-3, 1-3).
Sherman won the jayvee matchup.
MOTTER, JACOBSON POWER EAGLES
PANAMA -- Kinslee Motter had 15 kills, an assist and five digs while Brina Jacobson added 10 kills and 13 digs as Chautauqua Lake defeated Panama 25-8, 25-17, 25-14 in Division 3.
Evie Woodis had five kills, an assist and a block; Alice Scarpine had six kills and nine digs; and Makenna Smith had two assists, seven digs and three aces for the Eagles (5-0, 4-0).
Lilly Hyde led the Panthers (3-4, 2-2) with eight kills, a block and six digs; McKenna Kolstee had two kills, 11 digs and a block; and Annie Becker had 10 assists and 10 digs.
Chautauqua Lake won the jayvee matchup.
WESTFIELD STAYS UNDEFEATED
WESTFIELD -- Avery Smith had 11 kills, five digs and three aces as Westfield defeated Silver Creek 25-23, 25-19, 13-25, 25-15 in Division 3.
Shelby Begier had 18 assists and two aces; Nahlia Douglas had six kills, seven digs and nine aces; and Molly Burgess had a kill, two assists and three aces for the Wolverines (7-0, 4-0).
Maddy Blair had seven kills, four digs and two aces; Risa Kuppel had 10 digs; Brielle LaValle had 15 assists and two aces; and Liana Parsell had two kills and five digs for the Black Knights (1-7, 0-4).
Silver Creek won the jayvee matchup 25-11, 25-19, 25-19.
MAPLE GROVE SWEEPS BULLDOGS
BROCTON -- Maple Grove swept Brocton 25-18, 25-13, 25-22 in Division 3 behind 11 kills, three aces and seven digs from Zoey Foley.
Savannah Rambacher added 17 assists; Annie Steffen had seven aces, two assists and two kills; Lucy Castro had four aces, six kills and a block; and Hailey Ullman had 15 digs for the Red Dragons (2-4, 1-3).
The Bulldogs fell to 2-7 overall and 1-3 in the league.
Maple Grove won the jayvee matchup.
HORNETS RALLY PAST NORTH COLLINS
FORESTVILLE -- Forestville rallied past North Collins 18-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-16 in Division 4.
Ava Gruber had two aces, an assist and seven kills; Elizabeth Case had four aces, 20 assists and three kills; Olivia Valentine had three aces, an assist, six kills and four digs; and Alana Emke had two aces, an assist, nine kills and three blocks for the Hornets (3-2, 2-1).
Morgan Kreinheder had five aces, three kills, four blocks and two digs; Ashley Niefergold had four kills and seven digs; and Allison Niefergold had four kills, a block and two digs for the Eagles (0-8, 0-4).
