Fredonia girls soccer began the season in dramatic fashion with a 2-1 overtime victory over Randolph courtesy of two Nora Polhamus goals on Wednesday at Fredonia State University. Serena Smith put Randolph on the board first, but Polhamus tied the game in the 23rd minute and won the contest just three minutes into overtime. Naomi Muck made seven saves in net for the Hillbillies. Pictured, at left, Randolph's Serena Smith protects the ball from Fredonia's Juliana Snyder.
