Timberwolves upend Falconer volleyball

FALCONER -- Cattaraugus-Little Valley rallied from a 25-15 loss in the first set to beat Falconer 25-17, 25-22, 25-20 in nonleague volleyball Monday evening.

The Timberwolves, who are 4-3 in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 play, improved to 7-3 overall.

Reagan Trask had 27 assists, 12 digs and three aces; Kaylee Green had 11 kills and 10 digs; Skyler Norlander had eight kills; and Alexis Smith had seven kills, 14 digs and two aces for the Golden Falcons (2-9, 2-5 CCAA D1).

SOUTHWESTERN SWEEPS RANDOLPH

WEST ELLICOTT -- Madelyn Burnett recorded eight aces and six kills as Southwestern swept Randolph 25-21, 25-12, 25-20 in nonleague action.

Reagan Stutzman provided four aces and four kills for the Trojans (6-7). Elise Kartesz handed out 12 assists and Aurora Hyldahl had seven digs.

Randolph (6-5) was led by Aliza Hind with eight kills, three aces and a block, Tessa Brown made 17 assists and four aces and Reese Woodfield scored five kills and a block.

WESTFIELD TRIMS PANAMA

PANAMA -- Avery Smith had 14 kills, a block and six digs for Westfield in a Division 3 win over Panama 25-20, 15-25, 26-24, 25-16.

Shelby Begier had 26 assists, a kill and an ace for the Wolverines (9-2, 6-1). Nahlia Douglas recorded 11 kills, a block, seven digs and three aces, and Isabella Sorrento provided an assist, three blocks, three digs and three aces.

Panama (4-7, 3-4) was led by Mckenna Kolstee with nine kills, four blocks and 15 digs; Alex Becker with 13 digs and two aces; Sophie Hummel with four kills; and Annie Becker with 18 assists, three digs, three aces and an assist.

COUGARS DOWN PINE VALLEY

SINCLAIRVILLE -- Skyleigh Debo provided 12 assists, seven digs, two kills and an ace as Cassadaga Valley swept Pine Valley 25-13, 25-18, 28-26 in Division 4.

Alexis Pattyson contributed 11 kills, 10 digs, an assist, two aces and a block for the Cougars (10-3, 6-1). Eliana Katilus secured 20 digs while Kailee Lacki added six aces, five kills, six digs and 14 service points.

Pine Valley (4-6, 1-5) was led by Cam Rhinehart with six kills, three blocks, two digs and two aces. Breanna Snyder made 12 digs.

CHAUTAUQUA LAKE ROLLS

ELLERY -- Brina Jacobson scored seven kills and had four digs for Chautauqua Lake in a Division 3 sweep against Maple Grove 25-16, 25-9, 25-6.

Evie Woodis had six kills, one block and a dig for the Eagles (8-0, 7-0). Alice Scarpine made six kills and four digs; Karagan Fairbank dealt out 26 assists, a kill, five digs and three aces; and Sydney Williams added four kills, an assist, a block, a dig and two aces.

Maple Grove (4-6, 3-4) was led by Annie Steffen with four kills and an ace; Lucy Castro had three kills, four digs and an ace; Kendall Danielson provided three aces; and Savannah Rambacher added eight assists and eight digs.

HORNETS RALLY PAST CLYMER

FORESTVILLE -- Liz Case had eight aces, 27 assists, two kills and two digs to lead Forestville's rally past Clymer in five sets of Division 4 action, 14-25, 20-25, 25-22, 25-16, 15-10.

Eliana Cross had four kills and four digs for the Hornets (4-5, 3-3), Emily Lillie made five aces and nine digs, Olivia Valentine provided two aces, nine kills and 12 digs and Alana Emke added two aces, 12 kills and four blocks.

Clymer (9-3, 6-1) was led by Mikaela Jackson with four kills, nine digs, five aces and 12 points, Keira Kinal provided nine kills, two digs, three aces and 11 points, Harleigh Faulkner scored 10 kills, one assist, 12 digs, five aces and six points, Finley Mitchell dealt seven kills, one assist, one block, four digs, one ace and five points and Maiya Dunnewold added one kill, 32 assists, one dig and one ace.
