Fredonia edges Westfield 3-2 in boys tennis

FREDONIA — The Fredonia boys tennis team swept singles competition en route to a 3-2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 2 victory against Westfield on Tuesday. Jackson Spengler, Elias Harper and Aaron Hartung victories in singles competition were enough to lift Fredonia (8-5, 7-2) to the win. FORESTVILLE — Silver Creek’s 6-0 lead through two innings held up for a 6-4 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 softball win over Forestville on Monday.
