The Diamond Pro Blue Jays edged the Gowanda Masonic Lodge Cubs 3-1. The Blue Jays were led by the complete-game pitching performance from Jason Tomkiewicz, who tossed a four-hitter and struck out six, and Alex Garvey, who made two great catches in the outfield to preserve the win. Offensively the Jays’ Kobe DeJesus had two hits and collected two RBIs; Kendall Mulkins also had a hit and added an RBI. Alex Garvey, Jacob Page and Riley Rivera all hit safely. Justin Fish had a hit and scored the only run for the Cubs.
