Hillbillies beat Salamanca in Unified basketball

Austin Duliba scored 14 points and Julian Ocasio scored 10 as Fredonia beat Salamanca 42-39 in Unified basketball Monday. Louis Gugino and Luke McKnatt had 6 points apiece while Devin Batten, Solomon McKnatt and Thomas Lauer each scored 2 points for the Hillbillies. Kaine Whitcomb scored 13 points to lead the Warriors. Johnny Holmes-Pierce scored 8, followed by Logan Abrams (6), Jarvis Crowe (4), Ernest Pinnecoose (2), David Dunn (2), Holden Sader (2) and Michael Light (2). Fredonia plays next at Pine Valley at 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
