Hanover accident sends one to hospital
HANOVER — Two cars collided around 8:45 this morning at the intersection of Route 5 and 20 and Alleghany Road in the town of Hanover.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle operated by Patrick White, 69, of West Seneca was attempting to turn left at the light in front of the vehicle operated by Maria Baez, 27, of Silver Creek.
Baez was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. White was issued a ticket for failure to yield the right of way.
The Silver Creek and Sunset Bay Fire Departments also responded.
