Narcan used to revive unresponsive male
HANOVER — A 55-year-old male was revived by Narcan.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a residence in Hanover, address not provided, Monday around 6:30 p.m. after they received a report of an unresponsive subject. Upon arrival, deputies administered naloxone hydrochloride, commonly known as Narcan to the man. Narcan is a medication used to block the effects of opioids, especially in overdose.
After Emergency Medical Services arrived, he received further treatment and was transported to Lake Shore Hospital for further treatment.
Silver Creek Fire/Rescue and Sunset Bay Fire/Rescue assisted at the scene.
