Sherman man facing burglary charges

Narrative
SHERMAN — Deputies were called to a location in the town of Sherman Friday evening for report of burglary.
Upon further investigation, deputies determined that Trevor Kneer, 19, of Sherman, allegedly entered unlawfully into a residence in Sherman and forcibly stole property. During the incident, Kneer barricaded a victim in a room against their will and did not allow them to leave. Kneer was charged with second degree burglary, third degree robbery, unlawful imprisonment, petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child.
Kneer was taken into custody and transported to Sherman Court for arraignment where he was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail, where he is being held on no bail.
