South Dayton man charged with murder

SOUTH DAYTON – An alleged domestic disturbance at a South Dayton residence has resulted in a shooting death.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office criminal Bureau responded to the residence of Richard L. Tyma Sr., 73, of Mill Street for a reported domestic disturbance Friday at 2:45 a.m.
It is alleged that Tyma Sr. shot his 46-year-old son, Daniel Tyma, who also resided at the Mill Street home.
Tyma Sr. was charged with second-degree murder. He was arraigned in South Dayton Village Court and taken to Cattaraugus County Jail on no bail.
