Dunkirk teen charged in Ellicott stabbing
ELLICOTT — A Dunkirk teenager has been charged after a stabbing at an Ellicott home.
According to a police report, Ellicott police and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Town Line Road at 11:43 p.m. Saturday for a reported stabbing. Alec J. Stanley, 18, of Dunkirk allegedly stabbed a 38-year-old in the home.
Stanley was charged with first-degree assault and was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment. He will be in Ellicott Town Court later.
The victim was flown to Hamot Hospital in Erie where he is being treated.
