One charged in Cassadaga drug raid

CASSADAGA — A village resident is facing drug charges following a raid at his residence.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and the Members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force developed information of illegal drug activity at 27 South Main St., Cassadaga. The investigation lead to a search warrant being issued out of the Town of Stockton Court.

Today at about 5:40 a.m. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team made entry in to the residence. A search of the residence allegedly located a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, Suboxone, drug paraphernalia and a stun gun.

Joseph Keyser was located inside the residence and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

More charges are pending.
