DEWITTVILLE — A fire that destroyed a home near Dewittville is under investigation.

The blaze at 5728 Centralia-Hartfield Road was reported around 11:20 p.m. Sunday after deputies were first alerted to an harassment complaint.

Upon arrival, additional crews were called in to help battle the blaze.

Firefighters were summoned back to the scene early this morning after the fire rekindled.

Members of the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team responded to the scene. The cause of the blaze is still being sought.
