Adalisia “Lisa” Cabassa

Adalisia “Lisa” Cabassa

Adalisia “Lisa” Cabassa, 47, of Dunkirk, died Sunday evening (Oct. 10, 2021) at Buffalo General Hospital, following a brief illness.

She was born April 20, 1974, in Fort Myers, Fla., the daughter of Rosalis Irizarry and Eliduvina (Gonzalez) Santiago.

Lisa loved a lot of things and people in this world but one thing she loved most of all were her eight grandchildren. She was a busy grandma but she spent every moment she could with them and for that they will forever have those moments with her in their memories to hold on to.

Outside of her grandkids Lisa loved to be around friends and family and have a good time. No matter how far or near she was she was always there for a family or friend in need. For all who knew her she was funny, caring, kind, beautiful and just a gentle soul all around. She will forever be missed and in our hearts.

Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dino Cabassa; three daughters: Lizette (Shamel) Grant, Yvonne Rosario and Shanay Cabassa; one son, Dino Cabassa Jr.; two brothers: Angel and Josh; seven sisters: Elly, Jessica, Diana, Janet, Elizabeth, Jennifer, and Noemi; eight grandchildren; Chris, Bronx, Kashus, Wyatt, Emett, Jacob, Leon, and Lauryn; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Tony.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Pastor Erika Lopez will officiate. Masks are required, Calling hours will be held Saturday from 4-7 p.m., three hours prior to the service.
