With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Jennifer Alvarez, who left this world on July 21, 2025, at the age of 60. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend, she was the kind of person whose presence made life richer – a gentle force of patience, love, and joy.

Jennifer was many things: fiercely smart, endlessly kind, and filled with a quiet strength that grounded those around her. She was wonderfully goofy and fun-loving, someone who never took herself too seriously and could make you laugh just when you needed it most, and if you were someone she loved – family or friend – she would go to war for you without hesitation. Her loyalty ran deep, unwavering and fierce, and those lucky enough to be within that circle knew they were ferociously protected and unconditionally loved.

She found her greatest peace and joy near the water. Whether it was the ocean, a lake, or a quiet river, she felt most alive surrounded by nature. Her true bliss was snorkeling in the ocean, swimming among the fish, and taking in the serene beauty below the surface – it was where she felt most free.

Jennifer loved deeply and with purpose. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment with them. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Angel; her daughters Jessica and Samantha; her brothers, Fritz and Ernie; and her sister and best friend, Eloise – along with countless friends and extended family who were fortunate enough to know her and love her.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sept. 13, 2025, in Sacramento, California, where all are welcome to honor her memory, share stories, and carry forward the joy she brought into our lives.
