Donna Draggett

Donna Draggett, 68, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025, at Absolut Care of Dunkirk, NY, after a long illness. Born April 19, 1957 to the late Samuel and Claudine (Miller) Alaimo, Donna was raised and schooled in Fredonia, NY.

On Nov. 29, 1975, she married her sweetheart, the Late Warren O. “Peanuts” Draggett Jr., at the Laona Methodist Church, and raised her own family in her hometown. Donna dedicated her career locally as well, with twenty years of service at the Chautauqua County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunkirk, NY. She was also very active in the community; a lifetime member of the Fredonia Beaver Club. Donna enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her beloved “Peanuts,” with whom she shared countless happy times. She cherished her furry companions too, especially her boxers. “Nonnie,” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Donna was always up for a shopping trip with her girls, or cooking and baking for family celebrations. She enjoyed many hobbies including camping, crochet and ceramic painting.

In addition to her husband and parents, Donna was preceded in death by her brother, Mark S. (Linda) Alaimo of Florida. She is survived by her children: Warren O. “Bean” (Vrolet) Draggett III of Fredonia, and Stacey L. Draggett of Westfield, NY; her grandchildren: Darien, Destiny, Daisia and Drevin Draggett and Donald Campbell; her great grandchildren: Aklee and Bristol Draggett, and Mason Shanks; and her twin sister, Darlene M. (George Aliquo) Alaimo.

Funeral Service will be held at 10 AM, Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025 at the FANTAUZZI FUNERAL HOME, 82 E Main St., Fredonia. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Oct. 8 from 3-6 PM. Interment will be at Laona Cemetery, Laona, NY.
