“The Music Man” is a beloved musical that has been entertaining audiences for nearly 60 years, including a recent smash-hit revival on Broadway. The musical is set in River City, Iowa, in 1912 and centers on a charming con man who comes to town to swindle the citizens but ends up falling in love with the town librarian.

Classic songs from the musical include “Seventy-Six Trombones”, “Goodnight My Someone”, “Pick a Little”, “Talk a Little”, “Til There Was You”, “Marian the Librarian”, and many more.

More than 120 Fredonia students are involved in the production between the cast, pit orchestra, and backstage crews. This show also involves a dozen elementary students appearing in their first Fredonia High School musical.
