Submitted Photo: The Cassadaga Legion Memorial Post 1280 Sons of American Legion Squadron was honored with awards. The awards were presented at the recent American Legion, Department of New York convention. The Sons received a first place award for their Americanism program, a first place award for Children and Youth program and a second place award for Veteran’s Rehabilitation program. The awards were presented to the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 1280 commander Diman Smith at the Department convention in Syracuse.
