City of Dunkirk Department of Public Works announces that leaf pickup will commence with a city-wide sweep on Tuesday, Nov. 13 in District A. District B will be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 14, District C will be picked up Thursday, Nov. 15 and District D will be picked up Friday, Nov. 16.

Only leaves in open/untied bags and barrels will be picked up in this first sweep. Leaves left loose at the curb will be picked up in the next sweep at a later date to be announced. If leaves are left loose at the curb, residents are asked to keep leaves clear of receivers and utility poles and out of the street. City officials request no branches be mixed with leaves at this time. A separate pick up for branches will be scheduled at a later date.
