Dunkirk: Pad brings splash for city
Dunkirk’s Wright Park seems much cooler than it used to be. Don’t get us wrong, it was always special, but a recent addition this year has been welcomed greatly.
Over the weekend, the newly installed splash pad drew a crowd. And why not? Temperatures were in the 90s both Saturday and Sunday — as well as Monday.
“My family has already been here twice this week,” said Naomi McKnatt. a Fredonia resident. “We can’t wait to come down here all summer.”
Donations played a large part in the project — as well as city efforts. We’re in the heart of our outdoor season. Even with the heat, enjoy it while you can.
