Gowanda High lacrosse team defeats Wilson
GOWANDA — The Panthers outscored visiting Wilson 13-1 in the second half to win a high school lacrosse match Thursday, 19-6.
Gowanda (2-2, 2-1) was led by the eight assists and one goal of Ryan John. Tate Curry had five goals and an assist, while Uriah John contributed four goals and two assists, for the Panthers. Their teammate, Stevie John, recorded four goals and an assist, while Gowanda’s Jaxson Mohawk scored three times and added two assists.
Lyle Warrior made eight saves in goal fo Gowanda.
The Panthers’ next lacrosse matchup is 7 p.m. Monday at Lake Shore.
