The Dunkirk Marauders 11U Travel Baseball team started off their season in exciting fashion with a 19-12 win in Lakewood. Steady rain came down during most of the game, which thankfully was played on artificial turf. Robert Kozlowski took the win, striking out six batters in three innings pitched. Dylan Bankoski was one of the top offensive performers, hitting two triples for two RBIs. Donovan Thompson (three RBIs,) Kozlowski and Mikey Sutherland all had multiple hits. The 11U team hopes to keep the offensive production going as they take the road to face Eden next Sunday at 3 p.m.
