Clay artist speaks at SUNY Saturday Clay artist Dr. David MacDonald, professor emeritus at Syracuse University, will speak on Saturday at the State University of New York at Fredonia in The Science Center’s Kelly Family Auditorium, Room 150, at 6 p.m. MacDonald’s work, that derives much of its creative inspiration from his investigation of his African heritage, is nationally renowned and is contained in the permanent collections of The Studio Museum in Harlem, The Montclair Art Museum in New Jersey, and The Everson Museum of Art, Syracuse.
