Opera House to host bake sale, basket auction fundraiser

The 1891 Fredonia Opera House will hold a special Bake Sale & Basket Auction fund-raiser on Saturday, in Fredonia’s East Barker Common as part of the Fredonia Farmers’ Market. Proceeds benefit the Opera House’s general operations and programming. Opera House Executive Director Rick Davis says that the event is annually in June during Attic & Seller Weekend. A variety of delicious baked goods will be for sale; and 11 baskets and pieces of artwork will be raffled off using a Basket Auction format.
