Meat raffle planned Saturday SHERIDAN — The Dunkirk Lakeshore Bowling Association will be sponsoring a meat raffle on Saturday at the Sheridan VFW, 2556 Route 20. Senior Center names new social planner

The Dunkirk Senior Center has announced Robin Carr as the new Social Planner for 2026. Former Social Planner, Nancy Renckens, brought her 11 years to a close and "those are pretty tall boots to fill," Carr said. She plans to bring social events and trips to the many diversified members where there will be "something for everyone" to be involved and have fun whether it's an educational or cultural event, a day trip, cruise, overnight excursion or a casino trek.
