City Hall closed for New Year’s Day Dunkirk City Hall will be closed on Thursday for New Year’s Day. As per the 2025 Curbside Collection Schedule, Rubbish in the Thursday collection zone (District A) will be picked up on Friday. Grape Belt Seniors look ahead to 2026

Grape Belt Seniors meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for exercise class from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge. Participants have to be a member to attend and the cost for each class is $1. There will be no class until Jan. 5. The next potluck luncheon will be on Wednesday, Jan. 14 starting at 11:30 with lunch at noon. Must be a member and bring a dish to pass.
