Grape Belt Seniors lists upcoming activities

Grape Belt Seniors meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for aerobics and weights class from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge. Must be a member to attend. New members are always welcome and it's $5 for the year. The next potluck luncheon will be on May 13 at 11:30 a.m. and members have to bring a dish to pass. Day trips coming up are the Yankee-Cleveland baseball trip on June 8. The group leaves from Walmart at 2 p.m. and returns at 1 a.m. July 16 is the Daredevils and Rapids trip. SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on April 14 with 22 members present. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. A blessing was given by Annette Hoeber. Randy then welcomed Judy Policella and Carol and Jeff Struwe. Tuesday’s lunch was sloppy joes, coleslaw and desserts. SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on April 7 with 18 members present. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. SILVER CREEK – The Silver Creek Seniors met on a cold, snowy March 17 with 15 members present. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with all saying the Pledge of Allegiance and singing God Bless America. Dolly’s Catering served a delicious St. Patrick’s Day meal of corned beef and cabbage, potatoes and carrots along with a scrumptious 3 layer cake.
