Silver Creek Senior Citizens meet

SILVER CREEK — The Silver Creek Senior Citizens met on March 10 with 22 in attendance. President Randy Nurmi opened the meeting with the Pledge to the flag and all singing God Bless America. He then welcomed guests Cindy Anger and Judy Wilson. Lunch consisted of sloppy joes, salad, fresh veggies and cake. Annette Hoeber and Dixie Carlson won the door prizes. Senior Center names new social planner

The Dunkirk Senior Center has announced Robin Carr as the new Social Planner for 2026. Former Social Planner, Nancy Renckens, brought her 11 years to a close and "those are pretty tall boots to fill," Carr said. She plans to bring social events and trips to the many diversified members where there will be "something for everyone" to be involved and have fun whether it's an educational or cultural event, a day trip, cruise, overnight excursion or a casino trek.
