Buffalo man sentenced on weapons charge following county arrest

MAYVILLE – A Buffalo man is headed to state prison following his conviction on a weapons charge. According to District Attorney Jason Schmidt, on June 16, 2023, 39-year-old Dion Carr, was arrested during a traffic stop by the Jamestown Police Department. During a search of Carr’s vehicle, a 9 mm pistol was found on the floor at his feet just under the driver’s seat.
