North County Water District board members are questioning Nestle Purina’s water line usage. Board chairman Dan Pacos opened a discussion at this month’s meeting by stating he wants a meter on Purina’s secondary water line. He said the line was supposed to be for fire suppression only, but is apparently “used for other purposes.” Board member Brian Purol said that no other local industry’s fire protection has a water meter on it.
