Duliba named CCAA D4 boys Player of Year

Forestville and Cattaraugus-Little Valley went late into the season before determining a Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 4 boys basketball champion. The Hornets ultimately came out on top with a 9-1 record while the Timberwolves settled at 7-3 – their best season in years. Forestville junior William Duliba ended up as the league’s Player of the Year while Cattaraugus-Little Valley’s Josh Forster was named the league’s Coach of the Year. For the first time in years, a Randolph Cardinal is not the Player of the Year in Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Division 3 boys basketball. Gowanda junior Trelin Warrior has been bestowed that honor after averaging 18.6 points per game for the Panthers. Kevin Hind was once again named the league’s Coach of the Year after Randolph ran the table to a 10-0 league record.
