Jaime Wardell and Chad Cerrie were united in marriage on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. in a double ring ceremony at Blessed Mary Angela — St. Hedwig’s Parish, Dunkirk. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Daniel P. Walsh, pastor of Holy Trinity Parish, Dunkirk. Wedding musicians included Terri Helwig, organist and soloist and Jim Sutherland, soloist.

The bride is the daughter of Robert and Janet Wardell of Dunkirk.

The groom is the son of Robert and Kim Cerrie of Fredonia.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She chose her friend, Melissa Krzyzanowicz of Dunkirk, as her honor attendant. Bridesmaids included her friends Amy Nixon of Dunkirk, Katie O’Neil of Westfield and Mindy Block of Fredonia. The junior bridesmaid was Lauren Cerrie, daughter of the groom. Alaina Incitto, niece of the groom, served as flower girl.

The groom chose his brother, Michael Cerrie of Fredonia, as his best man. Groomsmen included his friends Erick Griewisch of Silver Creek, Dennis Keppel of Dunkirk and Chad Johnson of Brocton. The junior groomsman was Jacob Cerrie, son of the groom. Sebastian Cerrie, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.

The reception was held at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Dunkirk.

The bride is a SUNY Fredonia graduate and is employed as a second grade teacher at Westfield Academy and Central School.

The groom is a LeMoyne College graduate and is employed as finance manager at Fredonia Chrysler.

The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

They are at home in Dunkirk.
