Brocton announces Students of the Month
BROCTON — The Brocton Central School District has announced its Middle/High School students of the month for January.
Carson Warlikowski was selected by the Brocton Middle School faculty and staff as Student of the Month for January 2021.
Carson is currently a seventh-grader at Brocton and resides in Portland with his parents, Andrew and Cindy Warlikowski.
Carson is a conscientious young man with a variety of interests and skills. Carson is a member of Minecraft club and hopes for its return this school year. His favorite subject is Social Studies. He likes to learn about past events.
In his free time, he enjoys playing video games alone and with his family, putting together puzzles and going on family outings. Carson enjoys reading and recently found interest in coin collecting
In the future, Carson would like to explore a career in construction with plans to become an architect.
EmmaLee Abbey was selected by the Brocton High School faculty and staff as Student of the Month for January 2021. EmmaLee is a senior and resides in Brocton with her parents, Tanya and Ryan Abbey.
EmmaLee is a talented student with a large presence in her school and local community. EmmaLee attends Tap n’ Toes Performing Arts and is a member of Drama Club and Book Club.
EmmaLee is a member of Band and Chorus. She was named to the High Honor Roll and is 3rd in her class. EmmaLee also volunteers for the mentor program at BCS.
EmmaLee participates in Playground Academy and attends voice lessons. She volunteers at the Brocton-Portland Summer Recreation program and at the Summer Reading Program.
EmmaLee’s favorite subject is Psychology. EmmaLee anticipates attending SUNY Fredonia to major in Acting with a minor in Dance. She anticipates attending graduate school for Education. After graduation, she would like to work as a dance teacher, teach private voice lessons, run theatre programs and possibly perform.
