Jim and Janice (Schroeder) Rundell of Creek Road in Forestville, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a cross country train trip to Oregon. They are the parents of Heidi (Matt) Forbes of Forestville and Brian (Arrow Lei) Rundell of Syracuse. They have three grandchildren Corey, Ryan and Ashley Forbes.

Both Jim and Janice are retirees of Empire Specialty Steel. Janice is currently the bookkeeper for the town of Arkwright and part-time bookkeeper/receptionist for Dr. Jennifer L. Foley, DDS. Jim was a former CARTS driver and served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service.

They enjoy summer camping and round and square dancing.
