Tom and Martha Lukasik reaffirmed their wedding vows to one another on Saturday, July 7, 2018 in honor of their 50th year of marriage. The ceremony was officiated by the Honorable Anthony J. Pulci at East Town Fire Hall in Dunkirk. Jack Ward, brother of the bride, walked Martha down the aisle to Ed Sheeran’s, “Perfect.” Bridesmaids were Trisha Hudson, Tammy Lukasik and Lisa Forbes. Groomsmen were Trevor Hudson, Tyler Hudson and Jack Ward. The couple’s great-niece, Londyn Patrick, was the flower girl and her attendant was their great-nephew Sean Schibetta. Junior bridesmaids were great-niece, Abby Farkas and god-daughter, Sarah Harris Correll.

During the ceremony, Tom and Martha chose to include the married couples in attendance and have a large renewal of vows done by all. It was a very touching moment.

Zen City provided the entertainment for the black and white-themed reception where friends and family came from Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin to celebrate with the couple.

The couple was married on Feb. 24, 1968. Paula Cassillo, David Woolley, Pat Adamowicz and Bob Adamowicz were their original attendants.

Tom and Martha reside in Dunkirk. They have two daughters, Trisha Hudson and Tammy Lukasik, and two grandsons, Trevor and Tyler Hudson.
