The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday mid-May through October on Church Street, downtown Fredonia. It features a variety of vendors, with special events TBA. A number of vendors accept EBT, NYS Farmers Market Nutrition checks and WIC vegetables and fruits checks.

White Cane
Awareness Day
White Cane walk begins at 10 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel, 30 Lakeshore Drive East, Dunkirk and ends at Memorial Park. Sponsored by CBA Vision Rehabilitation Services. Supporters can learn more about the white cane. Refreshments will be served. For details, call 716 664-6660.
Fredonia Food Pantry
The Fredonia Food Pantry, Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave., will be open from 10 a.m, to noon. The pantry serves the needs of Fredonia area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.

Brocton Inaugural Arch Festival
