The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday November through mid-May at the Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. It features a variety of vendors, with special events TBA.
Fredonia Food Pantry
The Fredonia Food Pantry, Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave., will be open from 10 a.m, to noon. The pantry serves the needs of Fredonia area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours
The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats.
