Fredonia Farmers’ Market

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from November through mid-May at the Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. It features a variety of food vendors, artisan crafts and prepared foods for sale. The market welcomes cash, credit cards, SNAP benefits and is handicapped accessible.

Fredonia Food Pantry

The Fredonia Food Pantry, Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 219 Central Ave., will be open from 10 a.m, to noon. The pantry serves the needs of Fredonia area code 14063, Pomfret, Sheridan and Laona. All guests receive one or more bags of non-perishable food. Number of bags given out depends on family size.

Anderson-Lee Library presents: “Paws to Read”

Winterfest 2023

Bemus Point Golf Course and Tap House, noon to 6 p.m. Raffle tickets, Chinese auction, 50/50, vendor displays, vintage snowmobiles, sledding, chicken barbecue, food/drink specials, live music featuring Black Widow from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m., fireworks at 6 p.m. Proceeds benefit the five snowmobile clubs of Chautauqua County. This is both an indoor and outdoor event.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats.
