VFW Memorial Post flea market

Fredonia Farmers’ Market

The Fredonia Farmers’ Market is held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from November through mid-May at the Masonic Lodge, 321 E. Main St., Fredonia. It features a variety of food vendors, artisan crafts and prepared foods for sale. The market welcomes cash, credit cards, SNAP benefits and is handicapped accessible.

Lakeshore Humane Society Saturday open adoption hours

The Lakeshore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St., Dunkirk, will hold open adoption hours from noon to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to see the dogs and cats in need of loving homes. Tours of the facility will not be given. Individual appointments are available throughout the week by leaving a message at 716 672-1991; press “1” for dogs or “2” for cats. Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy guided snowshoe walk and campfire gathering

Cassadaga Creek Wetland Preserve, 4:15 to 6 p.m. Open to the public, free for CWC members, with suggested donations of $5 for individuals or $10 per family. Meat Raffle benefit for the Dunkirk Lakeshore Bowling Association

Sheridan Memorial VFW Post 6390, located at 2556 Route 20. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the first spin at 7 p.m. The $5 admission includes beer, pop and door prizes. The event features meat from Sloan Super Market, including steaks, sausage, ham, bacon, ribs and crab cakes, as well as a massive meat round featuring prime rib.
