Gowanda Moose members plan fall activities

GOWANDA – On Saturday, the Gowanda Women of the Moose will hold a towel raffle party at 201 Aldrich St. in Gowanda. Doors open at 11 a.m. The event starts at noon and runs until about 2 p.m. An admission board is $4, with extra boards $1 each. There will be 100 towels to be won, and other prizes, along with a ticket auction, a quarter raffle, 50/50 and more. Refreshments will be available.

On Election Day, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m., the Gowanda Moose 1382 will hold its annual turkey/meat raffle. The cash raffle prizes include first prize: $150; second prize: $100; third prize: $50. Tickets are $1 each or 11 for $10. As a bonus, the club will draw up to five names. The first person present will win $100. The event includes snacks, drink specials, food is available and it will be fun!

On Saturday, Nov. 12, the Women of the Moose Chapter 651 will hold a holiday craft show at 201 Aldrich St., Gowanda from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be many great crafters, jewelry, candles, homemade chocolate, pet items, wreaths, towels, blankets, homemade baked goods and much more. Refreshments are available. Vendors are still needed. Call Carolyn at 532-3829.

On Saturday, Nov. 19, the Women of the Moose Chapter 651 will host a scrapbooking crop with a ticket auction, 50/50 from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. There will be a dinner buffet of soups, salad and fresh bread.

Registration is $15 per person, along with a snack to share throughout the day for “lunch.”
