Sinclairville Free Library announces upcoming events

SINCLAIRVILLE – The following programs will be held at the Sinclairville Free Library, 15 Main St., Sinclairville. For details, call 962-5885.

On Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon, the Chautauqua County Genealogical Society presents Genealogy Basics, a free information program for those interested in researching their family trees.

Thursday, Nov. 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., a Veteran’s Recognition event will take place. This is an opportunity for local veterans to share stories of their experiences and be recognized by the community for their service.

Saturday, Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to noon, Youth Write Circle will meet. This is a writing group for ages 8 to 18. It allows the students to explore their interest in creative writing.

Saturday, Dec. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. will be the library’s Holiday Craft Show and Gift Bazaar. Local crafters and authors will have their works for sale. Those interested can contact the library to reserve a table for their crafts or books.

Also on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 4 to 5 p.m., holiday crafts for children will be available.
