Westfield Girl Scout Troop 20173 pair with Cross Roads to give back

“I’m thankful for NCCR because they rescue dogs, and thanks to them I have a beautiful, crazy dog. And she’s sweet, too,” said Girl Scout Grace Graham. The Junior Girl Scouts from Troop 20173 love pets, and during this holiday season they’re helping those who help dogs in Westfield. The girls have decorated a Christmas tree at Cross Roads Farm & Craft Market, and asked visitors to fill the space under it with gifts for Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue. “I’m so proud of how kind our girls are. When we began talking about this idea they were so excited that we had to narrow down their focus to one charity. They just have such giving spirits,” Leader Bowen said. “Cross Roads has a history of donating to the community, so it’s the perfect venue for this project.”
