Son’s of the American Legion fundraiser today

The Son’s of the American Legion, Squad 59, will be holding a Meat and Shrimp Bingo fundraiser today, June 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Post 59, 156 E. Main St., Fredonia.

Ten rounds of meats and shrimp bingo plus two additional bonus rounds featuring jewelry donated by Kirk’s Jewelers and Nancy York will also be held.

SAL Squad 59 Commander Rod Dziduch will call the bingo. All other proceeds from the evening assist with Post 59 veteran functions and Boy’s and Girl’s State sponsorships. Members and guests welcome.

Sunday Father’s Day Breakfast

Forest Lodge No. 166, F. & A.M. will be holding its final monthly breakfast until September, this Sunday, June 16, Fathers Day, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This all-you-can-eat breakfast will consist of eggs made to order, pancakes or French toast, sausages, fruit cocktail, toast, juice, milk, coffee and tea. Adults and teenagers 13 and up: $8, Children 6 to 12: $4 and kids 5 and under are free.

The public is welcome and cordially invited to attend, as is anyone interested in, or who has questions about Free Masonry.

Family and Caregiver Group for Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities

The next meeting of the Dunkirk/Fredonia Family and Caregiver Group for Parents of Children with Developmental Disabilities will take place Wednesday, June 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Western New York DDSO, 258 E. Main St., Fredonia. The group meets the third Wednesday of each month.

The group provides a welcoming environment for parents, family members and other caregivers of individuals with developmental disabilities to meet, share experiences, ask questions and receive support.
