Bake sale Friday to benefit Cooley’s Eagle Scout project

Submitted Photo Alex Cooley presents his proposal for wall colors for a room at the city library. A bake sale Friday will benefit Cooley’s project, which also includes purchasing board games for teens to play at the library.

There will be a bake sale on Friday starting at 4 p.m. until sold out at the Kosciuszko Polish Club, 73 E. Doughty St., Dunkirk. Homemade cookies, pies and assorted baked items will be available.

This bake sale is to benefit Alex Cooley’s Eagle Project, which is to improve the Dunkirk Library Multi-Use Room. The room is getting upgraded with paint and Alex would also like to purchase board games for older teenagers to be able to play. Alex is a member of Troop 267.

The Kosciusko Club is open to the public if you want to come for dinner before getting your dessert. The bake sale will be in the room to the left when you walk up the stairs into the club.
