The Christmas tradition for the ladies of the St. Rose Society in Forestville continues again this year with lots of baking and preparing of cookie trays for sale. Italian Fig Cookies (Cucidati) and many other varieties of cookies will be made between now and Saturday. Orders are now being taken. The cost of cookies: a medium tray of 30-plus cookies is $17, and a large tray of 50-plus cookies is $22. The homemade Cucidati (Italian Fig Cookies) sell in one-pound trays for $15. All trays are gift wrapped with cello and bow, ready to give as a beautiful gift. The proceeds of the cookie sale are used to support the Societies’ mission work here at home and in South and Central America.
