VILLENOVA — The fourth annual “Love Remembered” Bake and Craft Sale will be held Saturday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the entranceway of the South Dayton Supermarket, 303 Pine St., South Dayton.

The sale is held around Valentine’s Day by the Villenova Burial Association to help defray the costs of operating and maintaining Villenova Cemetery. The bake sale has a reputation for its scrumptious, homemade desserts.

The Love Remembered theme reflects the love one holds in their heart for the departed, the tending of gravesites as a loving gesture to a life once lived and a way of paying tribute to volunteers who donated their time and effort keeping Villenova Cemetery operational for 130 years. Those who donate monetarily to the cemetery often do so in remembrance of a loved one.

Lot owners and lot owner descendants please mark the date to attend the association’s Spring meeting on Tuesday, April 7 at 6:30 in the Villenova Town Hall. If you would like to purchase a lot please contact sexton Dan DiStasio at 374-1782. Donations may be sent to Jenny Dye/VBA Treasurer 8568 Silver Creek Road, South Dayton, N.Y. 14138.
