Church changes streaming of service to YouTube

SILVER CREEK — First United Presbyterian Church of Silver Creek is no longer live streaming on Facebook, but is now streaming its Sunday service at 10 a.m. on YouTube at the following link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDrvazsQb0656cJLhsjPbJQ. Those who want to view the service must click on the page’s subscribe button to access videos. In-person services are also being held with limited seating and masks required to enter and leave the church.

Silver Creek GOP to caucus

The Village of Silver Creek will be holding a Republican caucus for the purpose of nominating two village trustees and a village judge for the upcoming General Election to be held on Nov. 3. All duly enrolled Republicans are eligible.

Current incumbents for trustee are John Burt and Marv Cummings. Anthony Pearl is the current village judge.

The caucus will be held at the Hanover Town Hall, 68 Hanover Street, Silver Creek, on Thursday July 9, at 7 p.m. Masks are required, and social distancing will be observed.

North County Water District to meet

The Administrative Board of the North Chautauqua County Water District shall hold a meeting Thursday, July 9, at the Sheridan Community Building, 2773 Route 20, Sheridan. It will take place at 4 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and subject to current COVID-19 guidelines — number of attendees will be limited to a maximum of 50 and all participants must adhere to social distancing requirements.

County Bridge 959 to be closed to traffic temporarily

CHARLOTTE — County Bridge 959 on Hall Road in Charlotte between Hooker Road and Park Street will be temporarily closed to all traffic starting Thursday from 7 a.m. to noon.
