Celebrate and learn about the Green Comet, that has been in the news, as it reaches its closest approach to Earth. Not seen for 50,000 years, the Martz-Kohl Observatory will have live viewing from multiple telescopes of comet C/2022 E (ZTF) – weather permitting. The observatory also will discuss comets in general and view images taken at the observatory. Tours of the facility will be offered on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. The Martz-Kohl Observatory is located Frewsburg, an hour drive from Dunkirk-Fredonia. Dress appropriately for the weather. Our classrooms are heated but the domes are not. More info and directions to the observatory are on our website: https://martzobservatory.org/
